Description

Grown in the north of the island of Terceira, in the parish of Biscoitos, this wine comes from basaltic rock structures - called "biscoitos" (cookies) - and is cultivated inside the "curraletas" formed by rubble walls that protect the vines from the wind and sea air while creating a micro-greenhouse effect, favouring fruit maturation. It is made from ancient castes of wine from the Azores, such as the Verdelho of the Azores. This wine features a straw-colored-gold with greenish hues, with an elegant aroma of dried fruits (walnuts and hazelnuts), with emphasis and some spices and a dry, smooth, harmonious taste with a final lingering after taste.

Alcohol: 17% Vol.

Suggestions: to be drunk fresh, around 8ºC, mainly as an aperitif, but also as a digestive
