"A viagem seguinte" Chronicles Cristina Brito
by Cristina Brito. Chronicles. Mundos Collection.
Cristina Brito sails the sea in this book, "the beginning of everything", with different scales for African island of São Tomé and Principe and Cape Verde, in different circumstances and times, drawing a discontinuous graphic of telluric emotions and thoughts (a biologist clings to the matter that involves her), often poetics because "her visceral connection to the green world, the blue sea and the unbearable humid punch and animal heat" gives you the right to the natural environment and unique way as expressed by the author.
While Cristina, between Lisbon and São Tome, sitting "on a terrace looking the river," finished this book and "prepares herself for the next trip," we, on the banks of the Tagus, hear "familiar voices of all the ancestors we've ever had. "(António Taborda)
