"Azorean Shipbuilding" by Lizuarte Machado (Bilingual)

This work, that dates from the year 2020, started a few years ago and culminated in a first publication that he called precisely PETIPÉS. However, since then, the collection has increased as well as the collection of information, so that Lizuarte Machado decided to proceed with a second publication, more complete and bilingual.

It is a unique work “in terms of a rigorous, careful thematic approach, presenting magnificent graphic quality, which highlights the richness of the documents, the rigor, care, truth and honesty with which it was written” (MACHADO , 2019).

The 352-page hardcover book resulted from “a careful and meticulous research, from the Regional Archive of the National Maritime Authority, in all the captaincies of the islands” (MACHADO, 2019).
